9km with 34 hikers. This trail does not disappoint at all. From the moment that you drive in, you are met by grazing Zebras and Springboks and if you are lucky enough, you will spot the Giraffes along the road as some of our hikers did.

This venue has two hiking trails, 5km and 9km. They have MTB trails as well, so you will meet some cyclists on the trail.
We followed the green trail, 9km, that passes the waterfall and the stunning lake. The are some magnificent view points along this route.

The terrain is mostly flat on this trail with some fun ascents and descents. It is always a good idea to wear the correct footwear (boots and socks) when hiking. Our Merrell footwear is always a win to ensure safety, comfort and durability.

As we set off on the trail, eager to see what all this trail has to offer, we came across some Zebras and Springboks grazing in the field. They did not flinch as we stopped to take some pictures and videos.
We had to hurry along to catch up with the rest of the group before we passed the sparkling waterfall.
The trail has just enough ascents and descents to keep you going but really nothing too difficult. As you loop around the lake to come around to the glorious waterfall again, you are surprised with some beautiful view points of the venue.
All along the trail, you will see wildlife, Springbok, Zebra, Impala and Wildebeest.
As you finish the trail... you can feel the spray of the waterfall on your face. The splendour of the waterfall is so captivating that you are gently forced to stay a while and just absorb the tranquillity and the peace.

- They have a well stocked shop where you buy your tickets
