Route:
The venue offers various trails to suit your adventure and hiking needs:
- The Humbler trail: 4.2km where you get to explore 2 small caves and the main cave.
- The Black Baboon trail: 6km with the main cave en route
- The Garden of Eden trail: 4.3km
The routes are short in distance, but do not underestimate the intensity thereof. The route takes you into another world where you go through woodlands and then into a beautiful grassy landscape.
The trail is rocky at parts, but is manageable. You get to explore 2 smaller caves en route and then the ultimate exploration point is at the main cave. This cave takes you into another world under the earth!

Field Notes:
Merrell shoes, a walking stick and enough hydration is needed. If you want to go into the main cave, adequate lighting is essential. It's extremely dark, so a strong head lamp will suffice.

Getting to view this little piece of magic on our doorstep is a phenomenal experience. Being able to explore a cave that is hundreds of thousands of years old is a unique opportunity that not everyone gets to do!
