Voets Toets Hiking completed the 8km trail and found it easy to moderate. The route started at the Old Mill and took us through a tunnel under the road and into the Happy Acres venue. We proceeded to climb the mountainside which offered us superb views of the Magaliesburg mountain range in the distance. The trail then loops back down towards the Magalies River, offering us reprieve from the spring sunshine. We then headed back to explore the Old Mill before tackling the hill on the other side of the property. This trail is pet-friendly and the owner's furry baby (Toby) was our guide for the day. 🐶

It was a hot spring day so sun protection and a wide-brimmed hat was a must. A hiking stick is recommended for the rocky parts and as usual, our Merrell shoes offered us comfort and support throughout the trail. Energy snacks and hydration are recommended.
