Voets Toets Hiking completed the shorter guided route and rated it as easy to moderate. It's a pet friendly hike, so your fur babies are welcome to join.
The owner's doggy joined us on our adventure and led us safely along the route. It's a rocky trail which takes you up the Mountain of Faith. This mountain is often visited by people of faith who want to use the tranquillity of nature to praise and worship.
The route then takes you along the side of the mountain and down into a gorge, where you will see the Magalies River. The route then goes back up the mountain and leads you back to the lodge. We were cautioned that there is a troop of baboons that make their way through the route, so it's important to be vigilant and respectful of the wildlife in the area.
