Performance apparel is made from technical fabrics that wick sweat away from your skin and dry quickly, so you stay cooler and more comfortable when you’re working hard. Regular cotton holds moisture, gets heavy and can cause chafing on long rides or runs. For cycling, running, triathlon and hot South African conditions, technical fabrics make a noticeable difference.
Compression garments fit snugly to support your muscles and reduce movement and vibration during exercise. Many runners, cyclists and triathletes wear them for a more supported feel during training and races, and for comfort while recovering afterwards. They should feel firm but never restrict movement or circulation.
Yes. The range includes triathlon-specific pieces designed to go from swim to bike to run without changing. They dry quickly and fit close to the body to reduce drag and chafing. Cycling jerseys, running tights and lightweight jackets also work well for brick sessions and multisport training.
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, ideally inside out, and skip the fabric softener: it clogs the fibres and reduces their ability to wick sweat. Air-dry instead of tumble drying, and keep away from direct heat to protect the fabric’s stretch and shape.
