Voets Toets Hiking completed the 6.9 km Kudu trail. The trail is well-marked and offers hikers a wonderful experience in the African Bushveld. The first kilometre of the walk is flat and then proceeds into a steep incline up the mountain. This elevation certainly provides a good cardio and muscle workout!

Once at the top of the mountain, we were in awe of the exquisite views around us. The greater surrounds of the Cradle of Humankind and Hartbeeshoek were clearly visible. We experienced the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, making it worth the tough climb! The trail takes you on the plateau of the mountain and leads you back down the mountain. It's a fairly challenging descent, so good footing and balance is essential.
